EngineeringUK, formerly the Engineering and Technology Board (ETB), is an independent, not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to promote the contribution that engineers, and engineering and technology, make to society. Working within the United Kingdom, EngineeringUK aims to inspire people at all levels to pursue careers in engineering and technology.

== Main programme of work ==

EngineeringUK is the lead organiser of annual The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair and partners business and industry, Government and the wider STEM community to promote engineers and engineering. The Big Bang brings together over 80 partners and sponsors within the STEM sector and aims at engaging and inspiring young people aged 9–19.
Tomorrow’s Engineers is a programme of engineering enhancement and enrichment activities led by EngineeringUK, Lloyd’s Register Educational Trust and the Royal Academy of Engineering. The programme exists to help partner organisations focus their efforts so that pupils, teachers and parents can have a better understanding of engineering, including the many pathways into the profession. Current partners include Primary Engineer, The Engineering Development Trust, The Industrial Trust, The Smallpeice Trust and Young Engineers.
The Engineering UK report is an annual statistical digest on the state of UK engineering and provides policy-makers with an evidence base across the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) community.
